Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Vixo is a free-to-play brain-training game — daily games, quizzes and word puzzles. This policy explains what data we collect and why. Vixo does not sell your personal data.

1. Who we are

Vixo is a free-to-play brain-training game — daily games, quizzes and word puzzles. This policy explains what data we collect and why. Vixo does not sell your personal data.

2. Accounts

On first launch we create an anonymous account for you — no email, phone number or name is required to play. Your account is identified only by a random ID stored on your device. You can optionally “Sign in with Apple” or “Sign in with Google” from Settings to save your progress and recover it across devices; when you do, we receive a basic profile from Apple or Google — a user identifier plus the name and email address you approve — used only to create and secure your account. If you stay anonymous, clearing your device storage or reinstalling the app will start a fresh account.

3. What we collect

  • Public profile & leaderboards — your chosen display name, avatar and game scores are uploaded to our servers and shown on public leaderboards, tournaments and group standings, where other players can see them. You choose your display name and can change it any time in Settings.
  • Gameplay data — spins, quiz/puzzle answers, wallet balances and progress, so the game works and you keep your progress.
  • Groups & chat — if you join or create a group, we store your group membership and the messages and reactions you send in group chat, and share them with the other members of that group.
  • Push notifications — if you allow notifications, we store a device push token so we can send you reminders and activity alerts (for example, when a friend overtakes you on a leaderboard). You can turn these off any time in your device settings.
  • First-party analytics — anonymised in-app events (e.g. a game round started or completed) sent only to our own servers, used to understand and improve the game.
  • Advertising — Vixo is free and shows rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may process your device’s advertising identifier and similar data. You can limit ad personalisation at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking or Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads). See Google’s partner policy for how AdMob uses data.
  • Age confirmation — a self-declared birth year, used only to confirm you meet our minimum age requirement (13+).
  • Local device storage — your auth token, age-verification status and consent choice are stored in your browser’s local storage so we don’t have to ask again every visit.

4. Your choices

You choose whether to allow first-party analytics on the consent prompt shown at first launch; declining does not affect your ability to play. You can limit ad personalisation any time in your device settings (see Advertising above). You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings inside the app.

5. Age requirement

Vixo is intended for players aged 13 and over. We ask for a birth year (or a quick 13+ confirmation) on first launch; players who indicate they are under 13 are blocked from using the app.

6. Data retention

We retain gameplay and account data for as long as your account is active. Contact us (details below) to request deletion of your account and associated data.
